June is here, and so are the Father’s Day activities. The month brings the early days of summer, along with a sudden urge to be outside, on the trails, or at the country club. Celebrate your father this upcoming Father’s Day with an unforgettable experience.

Main Street Sport and Social Club

Bring out your competitive side at this award-winning facility located at 22 South Main St. in Doylestown. Try your hand at golf simulators, duckpin bowling, and nine-hole mini golf. Grab a drink at the full-service cocktail bar and just hang out. Membership prices begin at $5.00 for a basic membership. For more information, visit mainstreetsportandsocial.com.

See a Movie at the County Theater

What’s better than spending some quality time with your dad while supporting the local non-profit movie theater? Nothing we can think of, and this month’s line-up at the County is calling our names. Choose from classic films like Saving Private Ryan on June 5 at 7 p.m., or Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark on June 12 at 8:45 p.m, or pick a newly released flick. Whatever movie genre you’re in the mood for, the County Theater has you covered. Located at 20 E State St. For showtimes, visit countytheater.org.

Golf for a Good Cause at the 4th Annual Kin Wellness Golf Classic

If indoor golf isn’t your speed, try playing the sport for a good cause outside at Spring Mill Country Club. Join the community and participate in the Kin Wellness Golf Classic. The event benefits our local Bucks County cancer community and has made a real difference each year. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. on June 9, followed by a day filled with more than just golf. Enjoy a lunch buffet, shotgun start, cocktail reception, dinner, awards, and a silent auction. Held at Spring Mill Country Club. 80 Jacksonville Rd, Ivyland, PA. Grab a Slice of Pizza and Attempt the Bucks County Ale Trail

If you’re itching for a challenge and an adventure, attempt to complete the Bucks County Ale Trail. Created by Visit Bucks County, the Trail features over 30 outstanding craft breweries all around the county. Sign up and download the official passport for the endeavor and mark each brewery visited on your outing. Five check-ins earn 500 points, seven check-ins earn 700 points, and seventeen check-ins earn 1,700 points. Redeem your points at the end to earn prizes.

Sign up at visitbuckscounty.com/food-and-drink/bucks-county-ale-trail. After the Breweries, swing by any number of Pizza spots in Bucks County for a quick slice. Spuntino’s, Giovanni’s on State, and Nat’s Pizzeria are just a few options in Doylestown alone.

Dance the Night Away at a Concert Right in Town

Grab your favorite pair of shoes and dance to the stylings of Paper Lanterns, Three Women, and Brackish and Quarry at Nomad Supply Company., June 6 at 7 p.m. Bring the family for this all-ages concert. Support a small, local business that we’re sad to see close its doors this upcoming Autumn season. Jam out to some live music with some great people in an awesome shop. A Father’s Day to remember.  $15 per person. Located at 137 S Main St. Learn more here: shopnomadsupply.com.

Here’s a bonus idea just for fun: Lunch at Tabora Farms, followed by a walk at Peace Valley Park directly in front of the Orchard. Tabora Farms has been a staple in the community since 2008. Treat yourself to a delicious homemade bread, pastry, or freshly made sandwiches. Pick from the prepared food options and soups, and don’t forget to grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee before heading out. Peace Valley Park makes the perfect walking spot for a chat with your father. Find Tabora Farms at 1104 Upper Stump Road in Chalfont. Sailors Point at Peace Valley Park is off New Galena Road and can be accessed by heading onto Church Rd.

Whatever you and your family decide to do to celebrate all fathers, we wish you a lovely Father’s Day!
