Founders

Meet The Trio Behind The Cardinal!

Founders Jess, David, and JD

This dynamic trio's story begins in sunny South Florida, where David and J.D. were not just neighbors they were practically roommates, living under the same roof in a twin-like house. David started writing health and wellness articles for J.D.'s South Florida publication, The Pineapple, and soon after, Jess joined the crew to fine-tune all of Dave's musings into perfection.

When J.D. sold The Pineapple, Dave and J.D. co-founded Today's Yoga, a local yoga magazine, with Jess as editor. Later, J.D. moved to Jim Thorpe, PA to launch a new publication. During Covid, Dave and Jess relocated to Bucks County reuniting the team.

Noticing a lack of a community-focused paper like the one they loved in Delray Beach, the idea for The Cardinal was born. With J.D. leading the way, the trio launched the paper just months after moving in dedicated to showcasing Bucks County's people, events, and businesses. They also have a new publication based in Bethlehem/Lehigh Valley.
